Women's Ministry

Providence Church

Providence Ladies’ Book Review Group

meets every other month to discuss faith based books previously recommended and chosen by the consensus of the group. Our primary purpose is to glorify God by providing an opportunity for us, as ladies, to gather together on a regular basis to make connections and develop deeper friendships with our sisters in Christ.

(Check out the upcoming book titles we will be reviewing the rest of 2023!)

The Mission of the Titus-2 Women's Ministry
The Titus 2 Women’s Ministry at Providence Church is motivated by Titus 2:3-5 which lays out specific roles God has ordained for both older and younger women, ultimately for the glory of God. The older women are instructed in Scripture to teach and train the younger women.

"The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior,
not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things-
that they admonish the young women to love their husbands,
to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good,
obedient to their own husbands,
that the word of God may not be blasphemed."

Join us from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Family Life Center for fellowship, Bible study, and group discussion.  We'll provide light refreshments and beverages (donations appreciated).

Sign up will be available as we grow closer to each gathering online
and at the Providence Church Welcome Desk.

These quarterly gatherings offer the opportunity for multiple generations of women to fellowship with the purpose of building discipling relationships.  Each meeting, we'll be teaching from the Bible on what Biblical womanhood looks like and growing together in the Word.  The discussion time at the tables allows us to grow closer to one another and closer to the Lord.  As the younger and older women get to know each other better at each of these gatherings, relationships are built and discipling can happen more organically.  The hope is that these generational relationships can continue to grow through intentional contact with each other outside of these gatherings.
