Pastor Jon was born in Jonesboro, AR but moved to Ormond Beach at the age of three when his father was called on to be the student pastor at a local church.

At the age of 15, Jon gave his life to Christ and continued to serve in ministry in the Palm Coast area. In 2014 he married his wife, Chandler, and they have since been blessed with three children: Rhett, Rockwell, and Reese. He graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and continued to achieve a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019.

 

After caring for patients' physical needs for many years, the Lord continued to lay on his heart the desire to care for the spiritual needs of people. This call to ministry started by volunteering and teaching in the life of Providence Church, and the people and pastoral staff continued to affirm this call. In 2025, he began studying at Luther Rice College and Seminary.

 

Pastor Jon began his ministry as the Children and Families Pastor in January 2026. Having three young children himself, Jon has a heart for developing the earliest foundation of our children’s theology and biblical worldview. His desire is that all who pass through the ministry of Providence Church will develop deep relationships with Jesus Christ.
