October 2-November 6 @ 6:00 P.M.
Providence Church Great Commission Coffee House
In Titus 2:3-5, God calls both older women and younger women into a loving relationship that glorifies Him by passing His wisdom from one generation to the next.
This 6-week study examines the specific ways in which He calls us as women to fulfill His purpose in our lives as outlined in these scriptures. We will explore examples of the principles and actions of women mentoring women in the Word, such as Mary and Elisabeth and Ruth and Naomi. Ultimately, we will learn practical ways to respond to this call from the Lord in our own lives.
Please, join us! All you need is your Bible.

These quarterly gatherings offer the opportunity for multiple generations of women to fellowship with the purpose of building discipling relationships. Each meeting, we'll be teaching from the Bible on what Biblical womanhood looks like and growing together in the Word. The discussion time at the tables allows us to grow closer to one another and closer to the Lord. As the younger and older women get to know each other better at each of these gatherings, relationships are built and discipling can happen more organically. The hope is that these generational relationships can continue to grow through intentional contact with each other outside of these gatherings.
Join us from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Family Life Center as we gather together and hear from Joanne Philpot as she shares biblical ways to be a godly wife, mother, and member of church and community. This will be a good time for fellowship, Bible study, and group discussion.
We'll provide light refreshments and beverages
(Financial donations appreciated).
Sign up will also be available at the Providence Church Welcome Desk.
The Mission of the Titus-2 Women's Ministry
The Titus 2 Women’s Ministry at Providence Church is motivated by Titus 2:3-5 which lays out specific roles God has ordained for both older and younger women, ultimately for the glory of God. The older women are instructed in Scripture to teach and train the younger women.
"The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior,
not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things-
that they admonish the young women to love their husbands,
to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good,
obedient to their own husbands,
that the word of God may not be blasphemed."
